Between Raindrops

We had lots of rain this past weekend. Finally.

In between the storms, I went outside and took these shots
of the flowers in my yard....


because, despite all the wind and rain, the flowers will bloom...


and continue to unfold...


...waiting patiently for the sun to come out again....
